① Description Blooming Object is a sound-art duo created by Maciej Waleszczyk and Jan Skorupa. This multifaceted project delves into the realm of musical speculation through the use of self-made generative instruments. Blooming Object manifests in two distinct tracks: sound-art site-specific installations, enriched by spatial sound and video projections, and casual concerts performed with generative instruments.
② Concept Known as "Ogrody dzwiekowe" (Sound Gardens), the project is envisioned as an "organic sound ecosystem." Sound is treated as living matter, brought to life through generative instruments. This approach departs from strictly composed structures, allowing chance and unpredictability to be vital components of the creative process.
③ Philosophy In this creative arrangement, the artist's role is transformed from being the center to a companion of the experience. The concept of Blooming Object extends beyond traditional boundaries, fostering collaboration with the created "ecosystem."
④ Performance Through site-specific installations and live performances, Blooming Object explores new auditory landscapes. Spatial sound and video projections add depth and texture.
⑤ Reflection By creating our own tools for musical expression, embracing unpredictability, and treating sound as an organic entity, we enrich the dialogue between creator, creation, and audience.
